Ahh I love Dabi and Hawks and all their potential. Give me anything with either and I'll be happy. I love seeing them struggle. Maybe some diary entries about the things and emotions they could never admit to anyone else, maybe it's HPSC mission reports on Hawks' secret missions, maybe it's mentor-mentee bonding, maybe Hawks and Nagant actually write to each other (or they want to but can't actually send any letters so they just write them wishing they could reach the other to talk about their shared yet separate fate), maybe it's some analysis on Hawks as a hero (or Dabi as a villain) that may or may not be accurate, or maybe something else entirely. I'll be excited about it!

Has Dabi written out what he wishes he could say to Enji? Has he written angry letters he never sent because he's supposed to be dead?
Or something else entirely?
I just love them and their complicated families. The many many emotions that come with it can be explored in so many different ways so go wild with it!

What you should know: I love how deeply these books are embedded into their historical context. I also love Diana Villiers, and I do ship her with Stephen; she's a complicated and difficult character, but in many ways so is he. I think that they might have been quite a good couple, actually, had either of them been willing to try to be honest with the other at any point. So if you can't write her with sympathy please don't include her in the story at all.

Some prompts: We know that Stephen wrote and then destroyed numerous letters to Diana. What if one of them was accidentally sent? What do her unsent letters to him look like? Or what might a modern biography say about either of them in the context of their relationship with each other? I would also be interested in external views of their relationship: I cannot imagine Diana keeping a diary, but I'm sure some of her guests did. What did they think of this superficially bizarre and unsuitable match?

Other Stephen prompts: I really would love anything about his work as a scientist or as a spy, again maybe especially from an outsider perspective. Reports of meetings of the Royal Society? Coded letters between Stephen and Sir Joseph? Later publications referring to (or critiquing) his work? His medical notes on the crew of the Surprise? I imagine that these are either hysterical or tragic, or maybe both at once. I am not sure I am as interested in Stephen and Jack writing to each other as I am in them writing about each other, but something that lets us see their affection for each other, or Stephen and Sophie's affection for each other, would be lovely.

Things I like include: enemies being forced to work together; competent characters doing what they're good at OR being forced outside their comfort zone; relationships between equal partners; happy or hopeful endings; canon-divergence AUs; character-driven stories and plots; crossovers; adventures, quests and other hijinks.

I do love the idea that Amanda and Methos knew each other before Duncan and Methos met, although I'm sure she didn't know who he was; I'm sure Rebecca did, but that's another matter unless you'd like to have her in this story too! I'd love really anything about a meeting between Methos and Amanda especially if it involves some kind of misadventure. I do no think that theirs is a great love for the ages, but I do think that they like each other and are capable of being comfortable with each other. (I would also be happy with a gen story here.)

I'm partial to historical settings but the show is what it is, so don't feel like you need to double down on the historical accuracy if that's not your thing! Something set in the present or even the future would be great too, especially once each of them does know who the other is. (Grand larceny is space? Please do!)

Some ideas: Well, Methos keeps journals! Watchers keep journals! What is in those journals? Have Methos and Amanda ever ended up in a historical work? Or maybe one or the other of them need to "edit" the documentation the Watchers have, to prevent that from happening.. Do Immortals write to each other? Do they text (they definitely text, but how does Amanda get Methos to stop deleting everything she sends?) Are there private messageboards that Immortals use to keep up with each other? Is Duncan the only one who has never used a pseud?

So these are three very interesting alternate pairings for me! I have enjoyed pretty much all the Mary Bennet/William Collins I have ever read, so whatever you do with that, I'm sure I will like it! My one request is that Mary be happy with her life (Mr Collins can be happy or unhappy, as you prefer). How about Jane and Col Fitzwilliam -- how do they meet? Does she go with Elizabeth to visit Charlotte for some reason, and they meet there? Or later? Does Charlotte find her marriage intolerable and run away with him? That would be a scandal, and I would love to see it through everyone else's eyes! (I don't mind Charlotte/Fitzwilliam containing adultery but I'd prefer that Jane not be married to Bingley if she's paired with someone else.)

Austen is great for epistolary fiction and diaries, and I would love to see a story that relied on those here -- either the letters or journals of the principal characters, or how they seem to other people in the letters they write.

I feel like this would be great fandom for documentation -- possibly of the horror-story found footage type, even! I also like the idea that Alan, Ian and Ellie kept in touch after the events of the first film and so I'd also like their correspondence through the years -- maybe especially about the events of the Jurassic World movies (although I have only seen the first two of those). I'd also be interested in a story about Lex or Tim dealing with the trauma they suffered -- I feel like I've seen a lot more Lex stories than Tim stories in this vein but I think he was likely just as traumatized by what they went through. Ian is probably my favorite character in the movies, so really, just put him in a situation and I will be happy about it!

I do ship Ian and Ellie but in a kind of low-key way -- and would prefer if she not be working on his project when they get together. Actually, I would definitely read all about her grant proposals coming out of the JP experience, with the subtext being that she also wants her own funding so that she won't be that postdoc who dated the PI. But seriously, what kind of publications came out of that experience? Show me that! I would love something academia-related here, if you wanted to write it!
